![]() ![]() When did Jerome punch a Sangheili like you're describing? When did a Jiralhanae ever "take an entire clip to the face from an SMG"? Am I forgetting something? The very first chapter of the very first Halo book says " On the ground, the Spartans always won." The Covenant's naval superiority is never discounted in the Halo games. The Covenant are insanely OP in the books and yet Master Chief and some ODST's completely floor them in the games. :)Ī lot of the book details would also make a bunch of video game sections seem implausible. #OFFICIAL HALO REDDIT FREE#Both The Fall of Reach and Halo: Reach* fit together seamlessly and if you are still confused about how that could be so, just feel free to ask about any major issues you think exist. The whole Reach vs Fall of Reach thing being the biggest one.īungie botched that up for sure, but 343 has painstakingly pieced everything back together. ![]() Halo amazingly has a giant cohesive universe relatively free of any retcons and inconsistencies. I love virtually every piece of Halo media out there, but they're so inconsistent with each other that drawing information from any piece of Halo entertainment seems pointless. This is all nitpicky and stupid, but it kinda bothers me. It takes like 6 Sangheili Ultras to take down Noble 6. Simple things like a Brute takes an entire clip to the face from an SMG in the books and yet Miranda kills one with a single shotgun blast to the center of mass in Halo 3.Įlites are suppose to be Spartans' equals, and yet Chief mows them down in droves and Jerome kills one by punching it so hard it slams into a wall 10 feet away. Master Chief almost gets killed by a single flood infection form in the books, and yet in the games he shreds through them like hot butter. A lot of the book details would also make a bunch of video game sections seem implausible. The whole Reach vs Fall of Reach thing being the biggest one. ![]()
